Since 1934 Budapest holds the title ’City of Spas’. Hungary, with its 123 natural hot springs has one of the most significant spa culture, originated from the Turkish times. Some of the Turkish baths have been operating for hundreads of years now. Rudas and Kiraly Baths are beautifully reserved examples of the Turkish spa culture with Hungarian architecture features. The spa is not only for recreational and relaxing puposes but also effective for healing, the components of the thermal water is optional for circulatory diseases and womens’ health problems.

The most famous Szechenyi Spa is open since 1913, it is one of the largest bath complexes in Central Europe. The spa has several pools inside and outside as well and offers various types of massages and sauna seances. On Saturday evenings the Szechenyi Spa hosts the world-famous Sparty!
