Budapest – City of Spas
Since 1934 Budapest holds the title ’City of Spas’. Hungary, with its 123 natural hot springs has one of the most significant spa culture, originated from the Turkish times. Some of the Turkish baths have been operating for hundreads of years now. Rudas and Kiraly Baths are beautifully reserved examples of the Turkish spa culture with Hungarian architecture features. The most famous Szechenyi Spa is open since 1913, it is one of the largest bath complexes in Central Europe.
